Original Lease

30 day notice is required.
Resident must be in good standing with no delinquency or lease violations.
Transfer/settlement charges vary for residents who are terminating a lease early to relocate on-site or move to another Equity Residential community within a 50 mile radius. Contact your property management team or relocation specialist for details.
Transfer/settlement amounts are subject to change.
Resident must repay a pro rata portion of all up-front concessions initially received if resident is terminating a lease early.
Resident must pay all outstanding balances prior to moving.

Resident must complete an application for rental and satisfy the community’s rental criteria.
The application processing fee will be waived for relocating residents.
Resident must enter into a new lease with a minimum six-month lease term (seven months in Florida).
Resident must pay all deposits and other move-in charges associated with the new lease.
The lease term for the new apartment home must commence within 14 days following the termination of the resident's existing lease.
